Welcome to FindYourChristianity.com

Find Your Christianity.com is a place of discovery and exploration into helping individuals profile their Christian type according to the exercises found in the book Where are the Christians? The Unrealized Potential of a Divided Religion written by Eric Shuster (Cedar Fort, 2013). This website provides the ability to complete two exercises online: the Christian Profiling exercise and the Pharisaical Profiling exercise. After completing the exercises access to the output will be available to print with further directions on how to take full advantage of the results. In doing so there is hope that increased personal awareness will lead to a greater and more productive dialogue among all Christians to explore and find common ground on which to strengthen individuals, families, churches and communities through committed discipleship in Jesus Christ.

Where Are the Christians? - The Book

Where are the Christians? The Unrealized Potential of a Divided Religion uses the classic format of who, what, where and how to explore Christianity and the dynamics that unite and divide the religion into the unrealized potential it suffers from today. The book enlightens the reader as to who the Christians are from a historical perspective; what a Christian is from a spiritual perspective; where the Christians are from a behavioral perspective; and how Christianity can be strengthened and more united from a societal perspective. The book examines hundreds of Biblical and scholarly sources, analyzing data from a multitude of studies and interviews leading to unique perspectives and solutions to the challenges facing Christianity in the modern era.

News and Thoughts

The release date of my next book is May 14, 2013 with the cover being released in a matter of weeks. Here is a little more about the book ahead of revealing the name and cover of the book in the next month: the new book uses the classic format of who, what, where and how to explore Christianity and the dynamics that unite and divide the religion into the unrealized potential it suffers from today. This book will be a national title meaning it is not an LDS release only, but rather a book that will reach distributors interested in the Christian market at large. Starting the first week of January I will be summarizing one chapter each week in nation-wide blogs leading up to the launch of the book. Stay tuned.

About The Author

ERIC SHUSTER has dedicated his writing career to building bridges of understanding between Christians. His first book Catholic Roots, Mormon Harvest chronicles the faith journey of he and his wife including the respectful comparison of dozens of doctrines between Catholicism and Mormonism. Shuster’s second book, The Biblical Roots of Mormonism (co-authored with Charles Sale) provides a common scriptural platform for Christians to better understand Mormon doctrine using over 1,000 scriptural references from the Bible. Shuster’s latest work, Where are the Christians? The Unrealized Potential of a Divided Religion explores the “who, what, where and how” of Christianity with an eye towards increased unification and respect among all Christians regardless of denominational affiliation. With his professional research background, directorship at the Foundation for Christian Studies, and his unique life experiences, Shuster is able to delve into complex spiritual subject matter and make it understandable and enjoyable to the everyday reader.
